Denver was recently selected as a finalist for a new Hyperloop One high-speed travel network that would drastically reduce ski traffic along the I-70 corridor. The Front Range route would bring skiers and riders from Denver to Vail in 9 minutes using pods propelled via electric propulsion through a low-pressure tube. 

In other news, early season snow continues to fall in the Rockies and the Pacific Northwest is projected to receive more than 2 feet in certain areas.
