TELLURIDE, Colorado (January 26, 2017) – Mother Nature has smiled on Telluride this season, with more than 17 feet of snowfall so far. In January alone, Telluride has received more than 8 feet, making it the second snowiest January in more than 40 years.

“The snowfall this month has created some of the best conditions we’ve seen in recent years and has set the stage for the remainder of the ski season,” said Bill Jensen, CEO of Telluride Ski Resort.

The past two months have seen consistent storm cycles that have brought the base to over 65 inches and have allowed the Resort to offer all of its terrain, including classic hike-to terrain such as Palmyra Peak and the Gold Hill Chutes. With more snow in the forecast, conditions are expected to remain top notch.
