OnTheSnow tested the Kästle FX95 HP as part of its men’s All-Mountain Front Category and awarded it an Editors’ Choice honor.

The goal for the FX95, a Chris Davenport Pro Model, was to create a ski light enough for touring, yet high-performing enough for challenging descents. Smid, an Alta ski patroller, praises the FX95 HP’s “great, light swing weight making them fun off-piste.” Testers scored highest for stability, calling it “Solid at speed and through the chop,” says Gaudet. “It’s for the advanced skier who pokes around off-piste.”
