Windells Camp is a good place to start if you have a hankering to snowboard like the Olympic and Winter X Games pros.

These multi-day camps, which are conducted on the slopes of [R274R, Mt. Hood], are geared toward pipe and park riders who really wish to improve their game. The people at Windells claim they are a stepping stone to the top level, with every U.S. Olympic medalist and 92 percent of all X Games medalists having passed through their facilities.

The winter/spring overnight camps, geared to youths 8 to 17 years old, are fairly complete in their structure. For the seven-day period, campers get professional coaching, video review/analysis, lift tickets for either Mt. Hood Meadows or [R470R, Timberline] (both resorts are partnered with Windells), lodging, three squares a day, daily transportation from lodging to lifts, goodie bags, and other stuff. Windells has its own lodging facilities and 53 acres of private land on Mt. Hood.

The Windells winter/spring camps will be held March 22-28, April 4-10, and April 11-17 and cost $1,249 per session. There are also similar camps for skiers, and in the summer months, there sessions for skaters.
