Spring temps may be slow to arrive in parts of North America this season, but the spring skiing is right on time! With just weeks left in the 2014/15 season, there's plenty of options for catching your final turns throughout the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. And it's not all harvesting corn either.

Resilient cold and overnight low temps have helped ensure a long-lasting snowpack for late-season snow scavengers. Resorts like Jay Peak, Smugglers' Notch and Whiteface are still seeing freshies!

Pond skims and other annual rites of spring, like Sugarloaf's 27th Annual Reggaefest will keep spring stylish into mid-April, by which point most of the remaining resorts will be closing operations. But Wildcat Mountain in New Hampshire is looking to dethrone Killington—long-time owner of the "last-mountain-standing" title—with plans to operate into early May. But "weather permittings" Killington won't go quietly this season–potentially not closing until June.
