The great winter in the northeast will continue for at least another 7–10 days as multiple storms and cold air will continue to impact the region.

From late this week through Sunday, temperatures will be seasonable as two storms bring snow to northern New England. The first storm will hit on Wednesday night into Thursday with another for Saturday into Saturday night. Each storm could bring 3–6" to the northern resorts, while southern areas could see mixed precipitation as temperatures will be near freezing.

The bigger story will be the return of frigid air early next week, starting around Monday March 24th and lasting for at least a few days. High temperatures may not get out of the single digits for a day or two, and these readings will be as much as 20–30 degrees below normal for this time of year.

I don’t know how much longer winter can hold on in the northeast, so take advantage while it’s still here!
