SheRide, a [R330R, Durango Mountain Resort]-based series of snowboard camps, is dedicated to offering women a safe and different experience from trying to "keep up with the boys."

Julie Visnich, the founder and director of SheRide, says, "Our top priority is helping women meet their goals and have a fantastic time. Our team does everything we can to jump in and get to know you from the start. We're happiest when you're happy."

SheRide is conducting its latest camp at Durango Mountain Resort Feb. 20-22, and for the $650 registration fee ($575 for DMR season pass holders), attendees get three days of "riding, learning, and laughing," coaching, video analysis, celebration dinner, T-shirts, and other goodies. (The Lodge at Tamarron at Durango Mountain Resort is offering special lodging packages for campers.)

SheRide also is branching out and offering its first-ever three-day camp at Steamboat March 7-9. The $950 camp fee gets you three days of coaching, a three-day lift ticket, four nights' lodging at The Lodge at Steamboat, wine and cheese welcome party, celebration dinner, T-shirt, coaching, and video analysis. (There is also a backcountry Powder Cat option for an extra $440.) The camp will be limited to 40 riders to maintain an intimate atmosphere and to ensure excellent camper-to-coach ratio.
