The 11th Igloo Village season begins on Christmas Day and lasts the whole winter until April 5th. A dream has come true for Adrian Günter and his staff.

"We did not sleep during the snow-free part of the year, we tested many ideas and of course put the good ones into practice", says Adrian Günter.

Everything that a true Alpine romance is made of can be found in the Igloo Villages. For example, the company builds a wedding igloo into the facilities, so that the church remains in the Igloo Village, especially created by imaginative ice sculptors and snow artists. It is truly something special for the most wonderful day of your life.

"We also set up a special event igloo for company events, seminars, workshops, training, or press conferences. In the multi-functional snow palace there is space for up to 100 people. Presentations projected onto a wall of snow are really something special and have a long-term impact. Who could forget a picture that was shown to him or her in an igloo?"

The company's new location this winter is Davos-Klosters. Adrian Günter laments the move from Scuol to Davos, as Scuol is the actual birthplace of the Igloo Village concept. In Davos-Klosters, 2650 meters above sea level lies the new igloo village at the base of the Weissfluh Summit in the Parsenn region.

Other options are the established villages at Zermatt on the Gornergrat with a view of the majestic Matterhorn; Engelberg by Lake Trübsee; Gstaad in the Rüeblihorn area. and on the Zugspitze Mountain above Garmisch. The German village is the largest of all five Igloo Villages and is offering a Romantic Igloo Plus this winter. This igloo for overnight stays offers the extra comfort of a private lavatory.
