The third and final stop of the inaugural Winter Dew Tour touches down at [R299R, Northstar-at-Tahoe] the weekend of Feb. 19-22.

The best and brightest of the world's park and pipe skiers and snowboarders are expected to be on hand when the $1.5 million prize purse is finally divvied up.

Posed to take home a good wad of cash are Shaun White, who leads the men's snowboard superpipe and slopestyle competitions; Kelly Clark, the women's snowboard superpipe leader; Tanner Hall and Justin Dorey, the men's freeski superpipe co-leaders; J.F Houle and Per-Kristian Hunder, who share the top spot in the men's freeski slopestyle points standings; and Spencer O'Brien, the top women's snowboard slopestyle point-getter.

The Winter Dew Tour is the first-ever snow-orient action-sports tour and is modeled on and is an offshoot of the four-year-old summer-long skate/BMX/moto FX circuit (in which snowboarder White won a skateboard title).

The action at Northstar kicks off Thursday, Feb. 19, preliminaries in men's and women's snowboard slopestyle and men's ski superpipe competitions. The first final will be contested in men's and women's snowboarding slopestyle Friday. Saturday's action includes finals in men's ski slopestyle and men's ski superpipe, and the whole shebang wraps up with the finals in men's and women's snowboarding superpipe finals Sunday.

The Winter Dew Tour is being televised on NBC and MTV networks, if you can't make it to Northstar to check out the action.
