Gore, Whiteface, Other NY Areas Open
Colder weather appears to have put its feet on the couch and decided to stay awhile in New York state. Bad news for the complainers. Good news for the rest of us... those who live to ride the powder. Bigger resorts in the Adirondacks, including Gore and Whiteface, and in the Catskills, have re-opened and are making snow and getting some of the real deal. Areas in other parts of New York state are creaking open for the first time this season. Yeah, like Greek Peak. More good news: early season deals await.
