[R113R, Copper Mountain]'s Park and Pipe team have opened the Superpipe for anxious skiers and riders.

The USASA Copper Mountain Series is the largest and longest running amateur snowboard series in North America. That's 22 years to celebrate amateur competition.  The Group 1 and 2 slopestyle events at Copper are Jan. 10-11.

The Copper Revolution Tour follows Jan. 14-17, 2009, with women's and men's slopestyle, halfpipe, and boardercross.  It begins with men qualifying Jan. 15, women qualifying Jan. 16 in the morning, and the finals for men and women also Jan. 16, beginning at noon. The Cooper Revolution Tour is followed by the FIS NorAm Boardercross, Jan. 18-20, 2009.

Later in the month, Copper plays host to Boardercross @ Copper and two NorAm skiercross events - the only NorAm skiercross competitions in North America. Win these are you're in for the FIS World Championships in skiercross.

Finally, it all leads up to the USASA Nationals, April 4-11, 2009, also  at Copper. Nearly 2,000 top regional finishers will compete alongside some of the best invited male and female athletes from around the country. Events include slopestyle, superpipe, boardercross, slalom, and giant slalom. The Nationals will be held at Cooper until 2012.
