Hawksnest is preparing for its 44th season Dec. 14.
Check out the changes. Hawksnest added 250 parking spaces for tubing, expanded the beginner's slope, increased snowmaking capacity, and added features to its terrain park.
"We are constantly improving our resort," said Hawksnest owner Lenny Cottom.
The resort has also announced deals throughout the week. Tuesday is college night, entitling students with a valid college ID a $10 lift ticket from 6 to 10 p.m. Ladies ski free, day or night each Wednesday. Free lessons are offered on Thursday if you rent equipment.
