Construction on the Woodward Ski Camp building is set to begin in May with plans to take campers next winter season. In the building, will be progressive teaching tools, and every kid's dream, such as trampolines, foam pits, bungee systems and ramps. It's all in an effort to better an athlete's skills and abilities, while in a safe, supportive environment. Woodward is known by many as an excellent action sports and gymnastics camp, currently with camps in Pennsylvania and California. The Woodward at Copper facility will be the first winter-focused action sports facility that bears its name. Campers will be set up for dormitory-style lodging in the old Club Med building. Regular summer camps will be offered. Day camps will be available in the winter for all ages. Currently at Copper, you'll find "The Cage." It's a retail space offered by Woodward at Copper. There's an indoor mini-bowl for skateboarding. The local kids love it and the tourists have yet to discover it. The shop will soon be outfitted with computers and video game systems.
