The system that started on the West coast now makes it way into the Rockies where a winter storm warning has been posted for the southern and central parts of the range. Up to 16 inches of snow is possible. This action could also affect parts of Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. Highs mid 20's to mid 40's.


Lake effect snow from Lake Ontario continues to bring some minor action to the western Adirondacks. A few snow showers are still in the mix for parts of upstate New York and Northern New England, but the rest of region should see sunshine.


Light snow showers in the holiday forecast for Northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. High winds continue to keep most of the region on the chilly side with highs up 20's to upper 30's.
