Own a part of [R404R, Snowbasin] history by purchasing a chair from the Little Cat Lift. Snowbasin Resort, looking towards the 2008-09 winter season, is completing the installation of the new Little Cat Express High Speed Quad.

The Little Cat Thiokol Fixed Grip chairs installed in 1976, however, are being put out to pasture. Nostalgia buffs and collectors can pick up their very own chair for $300. Instead of spending $1,500 on a patio bench, make your own, or hire a carpenter to help.

The new detachable quad chairlift will service beginning terrain starting just above Earl's Lodge. It will take skiers to the upper parking lot. On a side note, we hope the lot will be open to the public this season. It's a great secret spot for ski in-ski out access to the lifts. Park, slip into your gear and ski straight down to the ticket window or the Needles Gondola.

The resort plans to have the lift ready before they open for the season. Interested in purchasing a Little Cat Ski Lift Chair? Contact: Mary Rowland at (801) 620-1013.

No word on what [R314R, Park City Mountain Resort] did with the old chairs from the Ski Team Lift. A new high-speed quad chair lift, Crescent lift, replaced and realigned the existing towers of Ski Team this winter. Crescent will begin near the base of the Resort and extend to Crescent Ridge (also known as Ski Team Ridge).
