Smaller Wyoming Resorts Pop Open

White Pine Ski Area, located outside Pinedale, commenced daily operations in early December. As of Dec. 17, skiers could access their two triple lifts and nine trail covered with packed powder.
Snowy Range, which is currently for sale, opened Dec. 15 for the two days only. The resort located near Laramie intends to run its lifts daily from Dec. 20 through Jan. 7, excluding Christmas Day. Then, Snowy Range will open Thursdays through Mondays throughout the winter, until March when they resume daily operation again.
Big Horn Ski Resort, located between Buffalo and Worland, has scheduled the opening of its 14 runs and three lifts for Dec. 20. The resort plans to operate its lifts every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and on all national and school holidays through the first weekend in April.
