Those purchasing passes in September are entered for a chance to win prizes in honor of 50 years of skiing at the ski area. The grand prize is a heli-ski getaway for two people for one night and one day with Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing. Other prizes include trips and tickets to the Grey Cup, Nov. 27 in Vancouver.

Value Cards are also on sale until Sept. 30. They run $59 to $89, depending on age. The cards grant a five to 25 percent discount on lift tickets purchased throughout the season. A direct-to-lift option is available that automatically charges a credit card when the pass is scanned at the lift. The cards increase by $10 starting Oct. 1.

Winter gear is on sale at the store, including outerwear and accessories. Name brand gear from The North Face, Helly Hansen, Orage, Burton, Billabong, Salomon, Bonfire, Oakley and Smith is included in the sale.

The Kamloops Pass Sale Store, located in Sahali Mall on Columbia Street, opens Sept. 16. The store opens daily at 9:30 a.m. except Sundays when it opens at noon. The store closes at 5:30 p.m. except on Fridays when it stays open until 9 p.m. and Sundays when it closes at 5 p.m.
