[R338R, Granite Peak], Wisconsin's largest ski area, is offering its lowest season pass prices now through the end of the month. Skiers and riders can save up to $100 per pass over regular season prices this month.

If purchased before September 30, season tickets are deeply discounted. An adult season pass is currently $354 and jumps up to $404 on Oct.ober 1 and $454 on November 15. All season passes offer 15 percent off food and beverage purchases at the ski area and 20 percent off purchases in the Sport Shop.

Seniors (65+) and a childrens (6-12) passes are currently $254 and will be going up to $304 on October 1 and $354 by November 15. A family pass, which covers four family members—children 18 and under living at home—is currently $974 and will jump to $1,024 next month.

Beginner terrain has been doubled in size for this season and a 600-foot conveyor lift has been added. New terrain will include a beginner mogul field with rollers and an Enchanted Forest Trail complete with wild animal figures. Additional seating and outdoor kitchen facilities have been added to the Sundance Patio as well as a new fire pit.

The Peak is not only the Badger State's largest ski area; it's one of the largest around the Great Lakes. It boasts a big—for the Midwest—700-foot vertical and over 70 trails. High-speed lift capacity has been increased by 33 percent for this season.
