Kranjska Gora Offers Summer Tubing
RTC Ži?nice and Hit Alpinea d.d. have decoided tubing is too good to keep just to winter in Kranjska Gora. They have opened a new summer tubing run called "Bedan?eva dr?a" ("Bedanc's tubing") above the Bedanc restaurant, beside a metal summer sledding run and the resort's bike park.
The tickets for summer tubing can be bought at the bottom station of the chairlift Vitranc 1 and are charged from one Euro for a single descent to eight Euros for 10 descents. The tubing slope is 70m (220ft) long, 1.2m (four feet) wide and has gradients of 10 - 25 percent.
