Afton Alps Spruces Up
Afton Alps gave their tired old main day lodge a new facelift over the summer. Patrons will enjoy the new wall of windows in the lounge area, and the deck, for those warmer spring days, has been enlarged. The Alps has been a mainstay of the Twin Cities ski and snowboard scene for over 40 years, and still offers a great product. At one point – in the early years – they had more chairlifts than Vail.
