Running two lower lifts - Miami and Willow - where snowmaking has supplemented the natural white stuff, Red Lodge will open for three days only. Skiers and riders won't chalk up vertical, but they can do a few turns and hit the Bierstube to sample the new menu and one of the 13 beers on tap. After operating on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they'll close for the week to continue to make snow, re-opening on Dec. 2 for the season. As snow reporter Paul said, "Take a week off, sharpen your edges, wax your boards, and get ready to ride."
