New Andorran Lake Dug
Vallnord has spent the summer digging a new lake in the Pal sector to help ensure the resort has enough water to power its increasingly substantial snowmaking arsenal.
"We are concerned with conserving the environment and try to minimize any impact we have on the landscape by ensuring that any work we undertake is respectful to nature," said a resort spokesperson.
"The objective is to have the ski slopes in the best possible condition while at the same time preserving the environment. It is a working philosophy that is reflected in the construction of the new lake," she added.
