Snowshoe Mountain Launches Demo Days
The area had an inch of natural snowfall last night, adding to the man made snow and helping to increase their average base by at least a foot. Snowmaking is taking place on 14 trails and more terrain is expected to open later this week. More natural snowfall is also expected. Snowshoe expects sizable crowds during the weekend's Demo Days Celebration. Spruce Glades is expected to open next and then on to Wiffletree and the Ballhooter lift, according to mountain managers.
