Another Six Inches at Verbier
In common with most of the traditional ski areas in the Alps however, the picture is mixed with a huge base building at the tyop of the mountain, more than 10,000 feet up, where depths exceed five feet. But down at resort level, below 5,000 feet, the picture is much less healthy with depths around eight inches.
However 30 of 36 lifts are running and there's powder snow everywehere to enjoy when the avalanche risk eases and a good local guide has been hired to show you about.
