Australia opens more lifts

Resorts in this article: Charlotte Pass, Perisher, Thredbo Alpine Resort, Falls Creek Alpine Resort, Mt. Buller, Mt. Hotham
Victoria's Falls Creek already has ten out of fourteen lifts operating with over a metre of snow on which to play and nearby Hotham plans to open Village Chair, Cobrunga Platter and Drift Lift this weekend. Melbourne's favourite, Mt. Buller, has eight lifts operating with snow making in full swing across the resort.
In New South Wales, Perisher Blue will open Smiggins and Blue Cow, and night skiing and boarding launches in Perisher's Front Valley on Saturday, June 23. Australia's highest ski village, Charlotte Pass also opens for the season on the weekend.
Thredbo has top to bottom on High Noon and the Upper Supertrail, Friday Flat and Cruiser open for the demo weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Riders and skiers can test the latest equipment on the hill from Elan, K2, Ride, Salomon, Roxy, 4FRNT and more.
The weather forecast predicts snow till Friday so the third weekend of the ski season already promises to be a white one.
