Beaver Creek Opens Buckaroo Express
The Buckaroo Express is an enclosed gondola, which means it's nice and warm. The ride is just under four minutes. The beginner area has easy terrain for those learning to ski or snowboard, and it has new moving carpets.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured face painting, helmet drawings, chocolate chip cookies and a visit from Smokey Bear.
Stone Creek Chutes and Royal Elk Glades are open. The extreme and expert terrain in the area offers big adventure and spectacular mountain views with short, steep gladed runs and pitches up to 45 degrees.
