Other festivities include: the children-only Paint the Bear event at the Tahoe Arts Center in Tahoe City, the Tahoe City Snow Festival Parade and the Gar Wood's Polar Bear Swim in Carnelian Bay, all on Saturday, March 3; the Cobblestone Dog Pull in Tahoe City on Sunday, March 4; Homewood Mountain Resort's Groomers Race on March 7; the Brooms, Boards and Boots triathlon (which consists of broomball, snowshoeing and cross country skiing) at the Resort at Squaw Creek on Mach 8; the Snow Festival Concert with 80s cover band Tainted Love at the Crystal Bay Club in Crystal Bay on March 10, and Snow Festival's culminating event, the 18th annual River Ranch Snow Sculpture Contest on March 11.
