The sun was out and the powder was plentiful on a recent stop to Copper. The base village is all condos and hotels with everything easily accessible. It's easy to walk everywhere and get whatever you need, whether it's groceries, coffee, ice cream, or restaurants. We stayed at the Copper One condos, and didn't need a car for the entire visit. The ice skating pond is in the middle of the village and a great alternative at night for the entire family. The mountain is full of fast, wide-open cruisers, perfect for all levels. The far east side of the mountain has some wickedly long bump runs. Be wary of the Far East run, as the bumps go on for miles (or so it seemed). They alternate between steep and flat, which is a fun way to tackle the moguls. JJ's at the East Village is the place for lunch, with great options. The Ham & Cheese Sandwich also comes with Caesar Salad and a cup of tomato soup, which is perfect on a winter's day. They are also known for the pizzas, and enjoying the sunshine out on the patio. Also, check out David Luthi's Double Diamond Restaurant at the base of the Super Bee. the Incline Bar & Restaurant at the Village has something for everyone.
