Nashoba Offers An Array Of Passes
Unlimited Adult Season Passes at Nashoba Valley are $500 for the first one, $450 for the second, $400 for the third, $350 for the fourth. Unlimited Junior Passes are $450; Twilight Passes are $325; and Weekday Passes are $230. Each type drops $50 in price for each subsequent pass. All prices increase by $50 after Oct. 31.
Season passes at Ski Ward are $375 until Dec. 15, then increase to $450. The price goes down with the number of passes purchased; a third pass is $210, fourth and subsequent passes are $155. A Senior Pass is $200.
Central Massachusetts skiers know winter is approaching by the annual Columbus Day Weekend Ski Sale at Strand's in Worcester. Strand's, founded by North American ski jump champion Strand Mikkelsen in 1934, is New England's oldest ski shop. This year's sale begins at 10 a.m. Oct. 4 and runs through Oct. 8.
