Killington Hosts Snowboarding Grand Prix
The Chevy U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix will be held March 15-16 at Bear Mountain. Winners will split prizes totaling $300,000, including a new Chevy truck for the overall champions at Killington.
The event will be broadcast at 2 p.m. March 29 on NBC, but why wait when you can see the real thing, live and up close as it happens, with a backdrop of live music?
Halfpipe qualifiers and night finals are Saturday, March 15.
The Paul Mitchell Progression Session Slopestyle qualifiers and finals are Sunday, March 16.
All events are free to the public for viewing and the finish area for both events is an easy hike from the lodge.
