Snow Is Starting To Fall
It's been a cloudy and rainy time in the Colorado Rockies recently. Rain at lower elevations means snow in the high country. It's been falling hard at Breckenridge, where opening day is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9.
Breckenridge, at 9,600 feet, is known for is early season conditions as well as early season lodging deals. Skiers and snowboarders can ski for three days, and stay for three nights, with the 4th night of lodging and skiing for free.
The resort is improving its terrain park system by featuring a a beginner park and pipe, intermediate park, and superpark and pipe on Freeway. Peak 8's Park lane gets new snowmaking which will turn the entire 3,500 foot run into a mid-sized, intermediate park.
