Resorts in this article: Timberline Lodge, Las Lenas, Mt. Baw Baw Alpine Resort
Timberline Lodge is now closed for summer skiing. Operations there should resume in a few weeks after annual lift checkups. French and Italian resorts are likewise closed, and should resume this fall. And Hintertux, Austria is clinging to skiing after a new dose of snow. All remaining skiing in the Northern Hemisphere is to be found in Switzerland.
In the Southern Hemisphere...
Argentina and Chile are experiencing springlike conditions with generally warmer, cloudy weather, although skies are clear at Las Leñas. Most Chilean resorts show decreased snow elevations, but Cerro Catedral, ARG should get some fresh soon.
There's snow in the forecast for Australia, where some white has already fallen on Mt. Baw Baw; conditions throughout Oz are springlike and packed. In New Zealand, high winds are hampering some operations, including lifts and grooming; Kiwi conditions are also generally springlike with North Island resorts experiencing some icy patches.
