We were there for a freestyle competition, hosted over the weekend by the Aspen Valley Ski Club. At the bottom of the course was this multi-million dollar mansion whose owners obviously have a sense of humor. This "busted skier" had everyone taking a second look. If you're hungry, the Merry-Go-Round restaurant is still great for lunch. The kids loved Crust, a pizza place at the base. Aspen Highlands is one of four mountains in Aspen, with over 1,000 acres and a 3,635-foot vertical drop. Five lifts serve 131 trails with the longest run of 3.5 miles. Great time had by all.
