Bardonecchia Expands Terrain
2006 Winter Olympic resort Bardonecchia will open its new ' Jafferau' ski run back to the resort. The slope starts at 2000m and descends over 1450m (just under a mile) to the base of the gondola, making it the longest in the Piedmont region. The new slope is equipped with programmed snowmaking.
The resort's snow park got bigger with new in-ground jump lines and Europe's only Olympic superpipe.
There's a new beginners area in the Campo Smith sector where the gentle slope is now served by a magic carpet conveyor lift. You'll also find a new tubing run.
