Bretton Woods First to Open in New Hampshire
With three trails open served by one high speed quad and one learning center quad the area offers about 38 acres of machine groomed skiing. According to area spokesperson Martha Wilson the consensus is that "considering the uncooperative weather, we've got some great conditions." Martha reports that the snow is soft and edgeable and the base depth is adequate and should hold up well. Snowmaking will resume hopefully this weekend when temperatures drop. Other New Hampshire areas are set to fire up the snow guns at the first possible opportunity and look toward early December openings.
