[R95R, Calabogie Peaks], eastern Ontario's largest ski resort, is offering some attractive March lift and lodging specials including a March School Break Week Package.

School's out during Ontario's school break week March 13-18, and it's a chance to enjoy some spring skiing and riding with friends and family. Lodging packages start from $65 CA ($65.92 US) per person, per night midweek and $76 CA ($77.08 US) weekends. The rates are based on double occupancy and require a three-night stay over the weekend.

Packages include lodging, 50-percent off on lift tickets per night stayed, and free tubing pass per night stayed. A daily lift ticket is $39 CA ($39.56 US) for adults, $30 CA ($30.43 US) for youth (13-17) and $26 CA ($26.37 US) for a child (6-12).  Children five and under are free.

Calabogie also offers a couple of lift and lodging packages that are good throughout the season.

The Weekday Ski & Stay Package starts from $77 CA ($78.10 US) per person, per night, based on double occupancy, and includes lodging, 30-percent off lift tickets and a tubing pass.

Multi-day packages requiring a two-night stay start from $58 CA ($58.83 US) per person, per night, based on double occupancy midweek and $68 CA ($68.96 US) on weekends. Three or more nights start from $50 CA ($50.76 US) midweek and $59 CA ($59.83 US).

Calabogie, with a 760-foot vertical drop, offers Ottawa skiers and snowboarders a nice choice close to home. It's located less than an hour from Ontario's capital city, and the area's 22 runs and two terrain parks has terrain suitable for all levels. The resort's longest trail is about a mile-and-a-quarter long. Snowshoeing and groomed cross-country trails are also available for guests.
