Let There Be Snow
You might not think epic snow when you think of North Carolina. But this year Appalachian Ski Resort is unveiling new snowmaking capabilities.
The resort will be able to produce more than one million pounds of snow per hour with the new system.
"We are excited about the potential to offer mid-season conditions during our early and late season, and the ability to open our terrain parks much more quickly," said Appalachian Ski Mountain General Manager Brad Moretz.
