What Liberty skis lack in taking their time to produce a rocker ski, they make up for in the technology they ride on with their progressive "functional innovation." Liberty is producing two women's specific skis for 2011-12 -- the Envy Powder and the Envy All-Mtn.

A more-subtle rocker called Stealth Rocker creates the Envy Powder ski that floats in the soft stuff and carves on the harder. This fun, light, and lively ski is just that, with bamboo core construction creating a quick swing weight and classic camber under foot for effective edging.

The Envy Powder is available in 156 and 167cm lengths and features a 105mm waist.

The Envy All-Mtn. carves even harder with a narrower waist than that of its sister Powder. Cruise into the park to get your jib on, hit the sidecountry for powder slashes, or stay on the front side of the mountain for the family ski day. The All-Mtn. Envy comes in 157 and 164 cm lengths with an 80 and 85 mm waist, respectively.

Liberty's Mutant specialty powder ski caters to the true powder hound. This massive 160-149-145mm ski is offered only in a 192 cm size for those who consider themselves lucky to get the chance to even ski it. A progressive directional taper in dimensions makes these massive skis incredibly maneuverable and driver-friendly.

"The Mutant is so light for how big it is," Liberty athlete Jeff Price told OnTheSnow. "All your weight stays right under your foot so it's incredibly easy to ski for its size."
