Alyeska Best Early Season Spot?
The mountain is already holding 58 inches on snow with several big snow dumps hitting the Alaskan resort in the last couple of weeks. The early arrival of white means the mountain is on schedule for its Nov. 17 opening day.
"You never know how Mother Nature is going to treat us in November," says Anchorage native Robert Carr. "Looks like Alyeska is getting some pretty good weather though and that should make for some early season fun."
