Targhee Opens The Most Terrain
Targhee threw open summit to base skiing on Dreamcatcher Quad and additional terrain on Blackfoot Lift over the Thanksgiving holidays. Grand Targhee ranked first with 1,500 acres of skiable terrain, with their Shoshone and Magic Carpet lifts also running.
That placed them first in the race for the most skiing acreage. Montana's Big Sky Resort came in second with 854 acres, and Colorado's Copper Mountain in third with 159 skiable acres. Targhee plans to operate seven days a week from now through mid-April.
