Teams from Colorado and Utah were there as well as groups from eight other states practicing victim search drills, beacon searches and helicopter training. One of the drills this year included a highway rescue scenario with a buried car, similar to what happened recently on Berthoud Pass outside of Winter Park. The Wasatch Backcountry Rescue put on the seminar. It's a volunteer group made up of snow safety professionals from various organizations as well as nine Utah resorts.
