Sunshine Village invested $20,000 in the latest new rails and boxes for Rogers Terrain Park this winter. Since opening just before Christmas, terrain park supervisor Tim Hyndman and his crew pounded out two-thirds of the 12-acre park by early January, setting up 15 rails, jumps, and boxes so far. "People can still expect to see what they've come to love here," says Mike Moynihan, Director of Marketing. Unlike the nearby RCR resorts, Sunshine continues to build jumps for air time. With more snow in the forecast, the Rogers Terrain Park crew may begin work on the Snocross course off of Wawa later in January. Moynihan confirms that the improved Snocross course will feature more technical turns, jumps, steeps, and flats than last year.
