At the same time, the Jeep U.S. Freeskiing Open was being held at Copper Mountain. Tanner Hall of Park City, Utah, took first in men's Superpipe, while Grete Eliassen of Holladay, Utah placed first in the women's division carrying a $2,500 prize. The grand finale of Jeep King of the Mountain series for both skiing and snowboarding, will be at Telluride on March 3.
