You can have your cake and eat it, too, with Ski Big 3. Visitors to Banff National Park can get instruction from the same pro at three different ski resorts: [R443R, Sunshine Village], [R368R, Lake Louise Ski Area], and [R802R, Mount Norquay].

The Ski Big 3 snow school program takes place at three resorts, offering participants a way to ski Banff's three ski areas. But rather than having a new instructor at each resort, the pro goes with the group. The Club Ski Program, which is just for skiers, is available for all skill levels starting mid-December.

The program adds in a few extra benefits, such as priority loading in lift lines and guided tours of each resort. A souvenir photo of each ski group with the instructor is included, too.

Adults are in their own skill-level groups, but children ages 6-12 can join Club Junior with groups divided by age and ability. Lunch is included in the junior program. The junior program meets at the same resort during the same hours as the adult program.

Club Ski Programs begin every Sunday and Tuesday. Groups meet at 9:45 a.m. each day to ski, take a lunch break, and return to the slopes until 3:30 p.m. The first day is scheduled at Sunshine Village.

Private Club Ski groups are also available. Private groups can incorporate up to five friends or family members for guided tours and instruction.

The Club Ski Program costs $299 CAN for adults and juniors. Private groups cost $379 CAN for a three-hour program and $579 CAN for a six-hour program.

Tri-area lift tickets are not included in the program rates, but they are available through Ski Big 3. The multi-day tickets start at three days, but are available for kids and adults in several configurations, such as five-out-of-seven days or seven-out-of-nine days. The tri-area adult three-out-of-four day lift ticket costs $239.85 CAN. The tickets are valid for skiing at Sunshine Village, Lake Louise, and Mount Norquay. Transportation to the ski resorts from Banff or Lake Louise is also included.

Purchase the Club Ski Program online, by phone, or at the Banff Ski Hub in downtown Banff. Tri-area lift tickets are available online, by phone, or at the hub, too.
