Costco is carrying a new Sierra Sampler Pack this winter that gives skiers and snowboarders a way to test-drive several different resorts in the Sierras. The pack, introduced by Snowbomb, also includes the popular Tahoe Card, which adds free deals and discounts.

The new Sierra Sampler Pack contains four lift tickets for [R132R, Diamond Peak], [R179R, Homewood Mountain Resort], [R34R, Bear Valley], and [R361R, China Peak]. Each ticket is valid for one specific resort, giving buyers the opportunity to ski or ride all of the four ski areas.

The pack also includes a Tahoe Silver Card, a variation of Snowbomb's popular discount card that includes free and reduced price lift tickets. The card allows for other deals on lodging, dining, rentals, and retail, too.

The sampler packs, which cost $60, are sold at 50 Costco stores across Northern California and Nevada.

Snowbomb's Tahoe Cards without the Sierra Sampler Packs are available for purchase online or in person at the Snowbomb Festivals. The cards cost $49 until Dec. 1, when the prices goes up to $59.

Benefits for Tahoe Card owners include one free lift ticket valid at either [R201R, Kirkwood] or [R432R, Sugar Bowl Resort] and free lift tickets for [R134R, Dodge Ridge], China Peak, Royal Gorge Cross-Country Trails, Tahoe XC Trails. Tahoe Silver Cards in the Sierra Sampler Packs do not have the free ticket to Kirkwood or Sugar Bowl, but do include many of the other discounts.

Discounts vary between $5-20 off, and some are e-ticket deals that allow for the purchase of up to four lift tickets per day per resort per Tahoe card.

Other free deals for cardholders include ski or snowboard rentals, tune-ups, and a one-year subscription to SKI or or Transworld Snowboard Magazine. Other discounts are available on retail clothing and equipment, lodging at 17 different locations, and dining.
