The mountain is 100% open, with two freestyle terrain parks, two new glades, and a half pipe. "To date, we've received more snow than Mammoth, CA, or Park City, UT," says general manager Jon Mahanna. "So much fresh powder has led us to extend our season for the first time in years." Some forecasters predict additional significant snowstorms for the southern Rocky Mountains in February and March, citing the current El Nino-influenced weather pattern. "We got off to a late start," explains Mahanna, "and now with some of the best conditions in the country, no one wants to see this great season cut short."
