Mt. Ashland Accepts Food For Tickets
Mt. Ashland hosts its annual Ski and Ride Against Hunger Day Sunday, March 30. Skiers and snowboarders will receive a free lift ticket with a minimum donation of five cans of nonperishable food, which in turn will be given to ACCESS Inc., a Medford-based community action agency that helps individuals and families survive temporary setbacks. "We are pleased to continue this annual event and give back to the community that supports us," says resort spokesman Mike Dadaos.
