The Tahoe Adaptive Ski School, which is headquartered at Alpine Meadows, has given ski and snowboard lessons to legions of students of all disabilities for more than 30 years.
You can help the Tahoe Adaptive Ski School maintain its fine tradition of empowering disabled athletes by attending the annual Foam Fest fundraiser at the Tahoe Biltmore in Crystal Bay, Nev., Saturday, Nov. 3. Sample the best beers from 35 regional micro breweries, perhaps score some season passes, and dance to Tahoe's eclectic Blue Turtle Seduction for $25 (advance, $30 at the door). Call (530) 581-4161 for further information or to purchase advance tickets.
