More spring madness at Mt Hutt
Starting on Sunday September 23 the Park Life Youth Mini Shred competition kicks off in the terrain park with a Treasure Hunt and Downhill Dummy run on the Monday.
Tuesday sees the brave glide or dive into the pond skim in fancy dress and Wednesday it's birthday celebrations for the mountain's mascot, Charlie the Kea.
Big Mountain and Shred the Shred competitions commence on Thursday with an Obstacle Course and Retro Euro Ski Buddy Race on the Friday. The week finishes with the famous Peak to Pub race when competitors ski the mountain, cycle the road and run to the pub. A Warren Miller outdoor cinema fiasco as part of the Big Mountain Film Festival caps off the day before revellers end up at Oktoberfest at the Forest Lodge.
Midweek passes for spring skiing are on sale now for AU$179 (adult) or AU$129 (youth) and are valid till the end of the 2007 season.
