The gondola has a mid-station stop at Shock Hill and continues onto a terminal at Peak 8. Another terminal at Peak 7 is scheduled to open in 2008. This will make a huge difference for visitors to Breckenridge, especially for those coming up from the Front Range for the day. It makes access to the mountain much quicker and easier as the ride to the top is now about ten minutes. The resort plans to operate the gondola during both winter and summer seasons.
